Its construction was mentioned in 1720. This chapel was actually attached to the Jouerie farm in Marbais.
It is situated on the Chaussée de Nivelles and is dedicated to Our Lady of the Afflicted and bears an invocation dating back to 1750.
Next to it, a stone reminds us that this place was not always safe as Philippe Pieret, the tax collector of the Jouerie, was murdered by gangsters here on July 6, 1666.
Location: Chaussée de Namur (cross-roads N93/N275) in Marbais.
