Illustration of Mill Hollers

The oldest parts (schist) of the old mill of Hollers date back to the 13th and 14th centuries and the 18th and 19th centuries for the newest ones (bricks).
It was under the authority of the Lords of Hollers, vassals to the Dukes of Brabant.
The oldest written traces about the Mill date back to 1530.
The Mill was then purchased by the Abbey of Villers in 1617.
Before it stopped grinding in 1947 the Mill was activated by the Thyle river.
The location of the wheel is always visible.
The Mill is a fine architectural grouping made in schistose sandstone.
